Helen Halliday-Huitson

Helen was born in Newcastle and is dyslexic.

As a child, she developed a passion for everything historic including British History. Helen holds a BSc (Hons) in Health and Human Sciences (Medical Anthropology), and is still passionate about history. She will be embarking on an Open University Masters in History (British and Irish 1750 -1950) from October 2019.

She currently works for a local charity in Social Prescribing. Helping people in ill health access to welfare rights, social activities, housing, and the arts.

The rich heritage of the Newcastle and North Shields areas are of interests to her and she can’t wait to see what is uncovered.
