Steph’s true passion is social history and she’s looking forward to uncovering many exciting stories that will bring the hidden history of North Shields into the spot light.
Steph holds a BA (Hons) in Culture and Society with a PGCE in post compulsory education. She works at Whitley Bay High School as a Sixth Form tutor as well as Careers Lead for the school.
Steph is also a passionate ice hockey player/coach and is a current member of Team GB Women’s ice hockey, recently achieving a silver medal at the 2019 Women’s World Championships Division 2A. She’s also assistant captain for Team GB Women’s Street Hockey Team.
