Katy grew up in the North-East. Since completing an Honors course in Digital Media Katy has been working in Computer Graphics & Animation. She has also been volunteering for the historic site at Jarrow Hall.
Katy believes new technologies will be key to documenting our heritage. She plans to bring interesting stories and environments to life with 3D interpretations – using technology to explain facts and tell stories of North Shields.
She is looking forward to collaborating with others in the community to capture local heritage. By introducing varied animation techniques she hopes to involve more people in digitally portraying our history.
