Coming out of lockdown and back into ‘normal’ life and living with covid in the community has been difficult for some people.
We ran a Poetry Picnic in the Park yesterday (well church grounds at St Paul’s Whitley Bay to be exact)
Around about 25 people aged 55+ were treated to a picnic and some poems by poet/singer/song-writer/actor Harry Gallagher. Several of the audience joined in with their own readings or poems too.
