Twenty two Year 5 students from Waterville Primary School absolutely blew our socks off during October!
We worked with them and filmmaker Alastair Cummings from Big River Films to make a documentary about slavery and abolitionists in North Shields.
The students used the equipment to film and record their 12 minute documentary which included interviewing Professor Brian Ward from Northumbria University and two Newcastle Quakers (Paul Hopper and Douglas Rennie).
Take a look at what the pupils came up with – we are so very proud of them!
