November 19th 2019 marked the 25th birthday of The National Lottery.
To celebrate this momentous milestone, and more than £40 billion that has been raised for good causes across the UK since 1994, The National Lottery family thanked National Lottery players with a range of events across the UK.
Applications were also invited from people and communities with great ideas for a chance to receive a grant between £100 and £1,000 from a £2m ‘pot’ …. so we applied.
And …. Guess what? They liked our idea and we were successful with our application!
We’ve been awarded a ⭐️£1,000 ⭐️ #CelebrateNationalLottery25 grant for an engagement project to bring people in our community together.
Once we’ve spoken to a few people in the Community to dot a few I’s and cross a few T’s we’ll let you know what we plan to do … but it’ll definitely involve a bit of “Heritage” and a bit of “Technology”
We’re very excited to get started with this project!
