We’re thrilled to announce we’ve just been awarded £1,500 from The Culture Bridge Fund (via The Community Foundation) for a school project!
The fund provides grants to support collaborations between education and youth settings, arts practitioners and cultural organisations in the North East.
Priority is given to projects which improve access to high quality arts provision for those who would otherwise face barriers to taking part.
So what could be better than teaming up with Blowin’ A Hooley Theatre to do this!
We’ll be working with Harriet and Micky from Blowin’ A Hooley to select a local school and then get a group of school children to write and perform a play based around local heritage …. with a little twist of technology on the side of course 😉
