Rory is a 3D environment artist who studied archaeology and heritage visualisation at the University of Glasgow and the Glasgow School of Art.
Since returning to the North East he has been involved in multiple freelance projects ranging from site visualization, environment pieces, construction architecture to prop art.
He believes that the North East has a wealth of untapped heritage that is either inaccessible or unheard of, and so is interested in capturing and presenting those sites and artifacts using game-technology and 3D-modelling software.
Working with this project, he aims to help reconstruct aspects of North Shields’ past, and present them to new audiences otherwise unaware.
